At Sumo Logic we focus on making our frontend responsive and performant even in heavy computation scenarios. We’d like to share how we address those issues, and what approaches can be applied to make interactions as fast as possible.
Building GraphQL Backends for Databases and Consuming on the Client
Talk Description: With more than 100M pulls, the Hasura GraphQL Engine has become an increasingly popular way to instantly generate GraphQL endpoints on your data stored in databases. But what happens when you refactor the core to generalise interfaces, add additional databases, and supplement existing features? In this talk Adron Hall will share the story of GraphQL broadly, through the lens of Hasura, and do so in a way that speaks to a variety of experience levels and technical abilities.

Muzea XXI wieku wykorzystują nowoczesne technologie do tworzenia rozbudowanych i imersyjnych doświadczeń dla zwiedzających. Twórcy mają do dyspozycji szeroki wybór technologii. Jedną z możliwości jest zastosowanie typowego stosu webowego: html + css + js uruchamiane w ramach Chromium. Prezentacja to krótkie case study zastosowanych technologii w dwóch projektach zrealizowanych dla Muzeum Powstania Warszawskiego, które odbiły się szerokim echem w świecie instytucji kultury (m.in. nagrody: najlepsza wystawa roku, projekt roku, european design award).
