I work on projects to invent and develop algorithms for feature extraction, quantification, classification, clustering, dimensionality reduction, ensemble methods, neural nets and deep learning, transfer learning. Some of the projects include: A software for the detection of impairments in the human voice based on voice and speech signals processing Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging signal analysis - develop algorithms for image segmentation, extraction of the BOLD signals and the further statistical analysis of the results.
During the presentation, I will discuss the potential of using voice biomarkers for diagnosis, risk prediction and remote monitoring of the treatment of various diseases, including neurodegenerative diseases, depression, heart and ENT.
